RC helicopter controlled by the iPhone

ar_drone-flying-560-x-365 A RC helicopter that can be controlled using an iPod Touch or iPhone, called the Parrot A.R. Drone.

This quadricopter, is a RC toy like no other and comes equipped with plenty of technology to make it easy to fly and loads of fun to use.

The aircraft is controlled over WiFi via an app loaded on the iPhone and works by letting users steer by simply tilting or rotating the phone in the direction they want the Drone to go. Also unlike most RC aircraft that are difficult to learn, the Drone is apparently very easy to fly. This is due to built-in ultrasound sensors and an inertial guidance system that includes an accelerometer and gyroscopes to keep the craft level during flight.
